Primary Throttle Valve Opening

    When the choke valve is completely closed, the choke connecting rod should open the primary throttle valve to the specified angle, Fig. 79. With
choke valve tightly closed measure the clearance between the throttle valve and wall of the throttle valve chamber at the center part of the throttle valve.
Adjust throttle valve opening angle by turning the fast idle adjusting screw. Refer to Adjustment Specifications Chart.     Turn the throttle stop screw all
the way in before measuring throttle valve opening clearance.
