Propeller Shaft Replacement - Front 

Removal Procedure 

Important: Observe the position of all of the driveline components. Accurately mark the relationship of the following components before removal:
-

The propeller shafts

-

The drive axles

-

The pinion flanges

-

The output shafts

Reassemble all of the components in the exact relationship to each other before removal. Follow the specifications, the torque values, and any
measurements that were obtained prior to disassembly.

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. 
2. Accurately reference mark the propeller shaft.

3. Remove the bolts from the front drive axle.
4. Remove the propeller shaft.

1. Slide the propeller shaft forward.
2. Lower the propeller shaft.
3. Remove the propeller shaft.

Installation Procedure
