Transmission Housing Oil Seal Replacement 

Removal Procedure 

Tools Required
-

J 36825 Output Shaft Oil Seal Remover

-

J 23907 Slide Hammer 

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear propeller shaft. 

3. Using J 36825 and J 23907 pry the seal out of the extension housing.

Installation Procedure 

Tools Required
-

J 36502-2A Output Shaft Seal Protector/Installer

-

J 36502 Extension Housing Seal Installer 

1. Position J 36502-2A over the output shaft.

2. Using J 36502 install the rear output shaft seal.
