Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect
1. Recover the refrigerant.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch in the rear bead of compressor.
3. Remove the switch retaining ring using J 5403 internal snap ring pliers.
4. Remove the switch from the compressor.
5. Remove old O-ring seal from the switch cavity using J 95534-01 O-ring removal tool.
If existing control switch is reinstalled in the compressor, a new O-ring seal must be used and preferably a new retainer ring should also be used. A
