Air Bag Warning Lamp Not On During Crank (Part 2 Of 2)
TEST DESCRIPTION
Refer to step numbers on the diagnostic table.
1. Start at the SRS Diagnostic System Check for all diagnosis.
2. This test determines if the malfunction is due to an open CRANK fuse.
9. This test determines whether the lack of a proper crank signal is due to an open Crank input circuit or an open power feed to the CRANK fuse.
13. This test determines where the open in circuit 1035 is located.
16. This test determines if the short-to-ground is open due to a ground in the Crank input circuit.
17. This test determines if the short-to-ground condition is in the wiring harness.
When measurements are requested in this chart use J 39200 Digital Multimeter with correct terminal adapter from J 35616-A Connector Test
Adapter Kit. When a check for proper connection is requested, refer to Intermittents and Poor Connections. When a wire, connector or terminal
repair is requested, use J 38125-A Terminal Repair Kit and refer to Wiring Repair.
