a. Tighten the washers and mounting bolts, tightening the mounting bolts to 75 Nm (55 ft lbs).
b. Connect the pitman arm to the steering gear.
c. Install the lower clamp to the steering shaft using the lower clamp bolts making sure the alignment marks line up.
d. Install the intermediate shaft shield to the steering gear and then connect the return and inlet hoses tightening the hose clamps to 2 Nm (18 ft.
lbs.).
e. Bleed the system.
