6. Remove the Steering wheel, using tool J 1859-A.
NOTE:

Do not hammer on the steering wheel puller, or damage could result to the steering column.

The turn signal lever on the multifunction switch must be in the neutral position when installing the steering wheel.
7. Align the detents on the steering wheel and steering shaft, and install the steering wheel to the shaft.
8. Install the nut that retains the steering wheel to the steering shaft, tightening the nut to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
9. Connect the steering wheel horn contact.
10. Install the inflator module.
11. Enable the SRS.
12. Hook up the negative battery cable.
