b. Lower the control arm by lowering the jack.
c. When compression is removed from the coil spring, take the chain away.
NOTE: Do not force the lower control arm and ball joint in order to remove the coil spring.
4. Remove the coil spring and the insulator and position the coil spring properly for easy removal.
5. Install the coil spring and insulators on the lower control arm by using a J 23028-01 tool to support the control arm and doing the following place
the insulators on the top and bottom of the spring.
6. Attach the lower control arm to the frame.
7. Install the pivot bolts and new nuts,inserting the front bolt first then tighten the nuts with front suspension loaded.
NOTE: In order to maintain adequate steering linkage clearance, refer to mandatory bolt direction of installation.
8. Tighten the nuts as follows
a. Front nut to 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.).
B. Rear nut to 98 Nm (72 ft. lbs).
9. Install the stabilizer shaft.
10. Install the shock absorbers.
