1. Inspect the rocker arm piston. Push it manually.

If it does not move smoothly, replace the rocker arm assembly.
NOTE:

Apply oil to the pistons when reassembling.

Bundle the rocker arms with a rubber band to keep them together as a set.
NOTE: Set the timing plate and return spring as shown.
