10. Rear cover

Remove the mounting nuts holding the BAT terminal, the diode, and the brush holder.

Separate the rear cover from the stator.

11. Stator

-

Remove bolts which secure stator terminal to Diode terminal, and remove stator.

14. Bolt
15. IC regulator
16. Brush-Holder
17. Packing
18. Diode bridge

19. Bolt

-

Remove Bolts which secure IC Regulator, Diode, Condenser and Brush-Holder, and separate these parts.)

NOTE:

Do not apply a shock or load to IC Regulator, Diode, Condenser and cooling fins.

REASSEMBLY

To reassemble, follow the disassembly steps in the reverse order, noting the following point;

NOTE:

1. NEVER make battery connections with polarities reversed, or battery will be shorted via the diodes.
