Remove the radiator fan with fan clutch, and remove the serpentine belt. (Figure 2)

Unfasten the center 10 mm bolt of the A/C clutch and remove clutch to expose the snap ring. (Figure 3)
NOTE:
Once the A/C clutch is pulled away from the pulley and shaft, a small shim inserted inside the splined coupling sleeve of the A/C clutch may
fall out. This shim must be retained and reused during the initial installation of the new A/C clutch.

Remove the center snap ring of the pulley using snap ring pliers. (Figure 4)
