Close the tailgate glass and make sure the latch is centered in the locking mechanism. If the latch is not aligned to the locking mechanism refer to
step 5 ( See figure 8 & 9).

Center tailgate latch by loosening latch screws, lower glass and align with locking mechanism. Once latch has been aligned, carefully tighten latch
screws. (torque: 52 lb in)
