With one finger firmly pushing upon the Temperature Door Lever, re-position the Temperature Control Cable housing back in the Retention Clip.

The Temperature Control Cable housing must be "set" into the Retention Clip. This is accomplished by applying upward pressure on the left side
of the Retention Clip.

NOTE: 

This simple procedure should be performed if normal HI and LO side gauge pressures are noted.

Verify the results: 
The heated air mix door can be heard closing right before the Temperature Control Knob reaches the end of its movement to the "FULL COLD"
position.
