Brake Fluid Solenoid Valve Relay: Testing and Inspection
CHART B-5 VALVE RELAY CIRCUIT
Circuit Operation
The signal from the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) causes the valve relay to turn ON/OFF, and establishes the power circuit for the
solenoid valve.
When opens or shorts occur in this circuit, or when the relay is defective, the "ANTILOCK" light comes on, and the Antilock Brake System (ABS)
system is shut off.
