INSTALLATION

1. Rear cable (15).

Apply grease (BESCO L-2 or equivalent) to the connecting portion of the rear cable and equalizer.

2. Equalizer (14).
3. Back plate (13).
4. Adjust nut (12).

^

Tighten the adjust nut to the specified torque.

Specs:
Adjusting nut 6 Nm (52 lb. in.)

To adjust the parking brake. refer to parking brake adjustment. See: Adjustments

5. Clip (11).
6. Clip (10).
7. Clip (9).

Specs:
Sems bolt 6 Nm (52 lb. in.)
Flange bolt 6.5 Nm (57.5 lb. in.)

8. Cable fixing bolt (8).

Tighten the cable fixing bolt to the specified torque.

Specs:
Cable fixing bolt 6 Nm (52 lb. in.)

9. Shoe assembly (7).

^

After installation of the shoe and cable assembly, apply grease in the correct portions.

10. Return spring; lower (6).
