5. Fit 'J' gate surround finisher. See: Center Console/Centre Console 'J' Gate Trim/'J' Gate Finisher

Floor Console

Floor Console (76.25.01)

Removal

1. Turn ignition switch to position II and apply footbrake.
2. Move gear selector to the the 'D' position and release footbrake.
3. Turn ignition switch to position 'O''.
4. Remove battery cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal.
5. Where fitted, remove centre console rear extension.
6. Remove fascia centre veneer panel.
7. Using a thin plastic lever, carefully release the rear air distribution control grill tangs at top and sides and remove grill complete with veneer panel

and control.

8. Disconnect cigar lighter and ashtray illumination harness (white) multiplug at RH rear. of console.

9. Slacken and remove the two console rear securing screws.

10. Remove 'J' gate finisher and veneer panel.
11. Remove fascia centre veneer panel.
12. Slacken and remove the two centre console front securing screws.
