5. Remove the front seat backrest trim panel.

Disconnect the rear passenger footwell courtesy lamp electrical connector.
6. Detach the front seat backrest cover.
7. Disconnect the front seat head restraint electrical connector.
8. Detach the front seat head restraint wiring harness.
CAUTION: Make sure that the head restraint is not withdrawn further than 15 mm from the head restraint motor. Failure to follow this instruction may
result in damage to the vehicle.
9. Detach the front seat head restraint from the head restraint motor.
