Commander 4WD V8-4.7L VIN N (2006)
4. Position the liftgate to the liftgate half of the hinge (1) on the vehicle.
5. Install and tighten the two screws (2) that secure the hinge to the liftgate.
6. Tighten the screws to 28 N.m (21 ft.lbs).
7. Install the support struts.
8. Remove the support from the liftgate.
9. Check the liftgate for proper alignment and operation.
10. Align the retaining tabs on the upper liftgate trim molding with the retaining clips in the liftgate opening and engage the retaining tabs that secure
the trim molding to the liftgate opening.
11. Check for water leaks at hinge to body screws.
