3. Bond a dam near the perimeter of the glass 11/4 in (7 mm) from the outside edge. Allow bond to cure completely before proceeding.
4. Apply primer with a brush to the perimeter of the glass and the body, and allow it to dry for 20 to 30 minutes.
CAUTION
Do not allow dirt, water, oil, etc., to come in contact with the coated surfaces. Do not touch it with your hand.
5. Install the spacers and clips at the positions shown in the figure.
NOTICE
Replace any defective clips with new ones.
6. When the primer has dried, apply a 7/16 in (11 mm) thick x 1/4 in (7 mm) wide bead of repair sealant around the perimeter of the glass using the
sealant gun.
