Caster and Camber
PREINSPECTION
1. Set the tire inflation pressures to the recommended pressure, if necessary.
2. Inspect the front wheel bearing play; replace the bearing if necessary.
3. Inspect the wheel and tire runout.
4. Inspect the ball joints and steering linkage for excessive play.
5. The vehicle must be on a level surface and have no luggage or passenger load.
6. Shake the vehicle to check operation of the shock absorbers.
7. The difference in height, between the left and right sides of the vehicle, from the center of the wheel up to the edge of the fender must not exceed
0.39 inch (10 mm).
8. Check that the fuel tank is full, radiator coolant and engine oil are at specified levels, and spare tire, jack and tools are in designated positions.
ADJUSTMENT
1. Attach the caster/camber gauge to the front hubs, per the manufacturer's instructions, and note the readings.
2. If the readings do not meet the specifications, lift the front of the vehicle until the front wheels clear the floor, and then support it with safety
stands.

3. Remove the four mounting block nuts.
4. Push the mounting block downward, and turn it to the position that corresponds to the difference between the initial reading and the specification.
