The pin on the pulley boss must face upward.

CAUTION:

After setting the marks, do not turn the crankshaft when removing the pulley lock bolt and pulley boss.

2. Remove the timing belt

NOTE:
^

Mark the timing belt rotation for proper reinstallation.

Inspection

Inspect the following parts:

1. Timing belt

2. Timing belt tensioner and spring

3. Timing belt pulley

4. Camshaft pulley 

Installation note:

Tensioner, tensioner spring.

1. Install the tensioner and the tensioner spring.
