5. Pull throttle cable in B direction, Fig. 3 until line pressure exceeds specified pressure, Fig. 4. If line pressure will not decrease to adjustment

pressure (60 psi for 2 valve engines, 74 psi for 4 valve engines), tighten bolt No. 2 with line pressure at closest point to adjustment pressure. It
must not be above maximum specified pressure. Torque to 61-86 inch lbs.

6. Pull throttle cable in A direction until line pressure decreases to adjustment pressure.
7. Torque bolt No. 2 to 61-86 inch lbs.
8. Turn off engine and ensure throttle cable moves smoothly
9. Restart engine and accelerate slightly, then allow to idle.
