ABS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

The ABS warning light does not come on and the system is not working properly.

STEP	OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT	TEST RESULTS
1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector check the following at the brake node:In errors ambient that there are no faults In parameters ambient the plausibility of all the parameters In active diagnosis ambient the operation of the ABS warning light	Move on to Step	1. Presence of faults	1. Continue following the instructions in the diagnostic table
		Move on to Step	2. The warning light does not come on	2. Replace the brake node See in Op. 3340A12 A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic CONTROL UNIT - R.R. - Includes bleeding air
2	HYDRAULIC BRAKING SYSTEM CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Disconnect the ABS system electrics and, with the assistance of an overhauling bench, check the efficiency of the braking system	Move on to Step	Braking action unbalanced	Overhaul the braking system
3	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present the test is essential becaues the braking system is one of the vehicle's safety systems		Fault persists	Replace the brake node See in Op. 3340A12 A.B.S. hydraulic and electronic CONTROL UNIT - R.R. - Includes bleeding air
