CD CHANGER NOT WORKING

The CD-Changer is not supplied and operated directly by the Connect Node.

STEP	OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT	TEST RESULTS
1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector and check the following at the Connect NodeIn errors ambient that there are no faults	Move on to Step	Presence of faults	Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment.
2	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Disconnect the connector for the CD-Changer and check for a positive power supply and earth (Wiring Diagram ) E4091 CONNECT	Move on to Step	No power supply positive	Move on to Step
3	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Remove the Control Panel and the Connect and check the continuity/insulation of the wiring between the Connect and the CD-Changer (Wiring Diagram ) E4091 CONNECT	Move on to Step	CD-Changer wiring faulty	Restore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E4091 CONNECT
4	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present		Fault persists	Replace the Connect unit See in Op. 5580P20 CONNECT CONTROL UNIT - R.R.
5	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present		Fault persists	Replace the CD-Changer See in Op. 5580M32 ON-BOARD NAVIGATOR CD PLAYER - R.R.
