POOR RADIO RECEPTION

STEP	OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT	TEST RESULTS
1	CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Connect the Examiner diagnostic equipment to the diagnostic connector and check the following at the Connect Nodein errors ambient that there are no faults	Move on to Step	Presence of faults	Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
2	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Remove the Connect and check: the effective connection of the aerial connector. Remove the roof panel, identify the diversity module and check for the presence of a positive supply coming from the Connect. the continuity/insulation of the aerial lead (Wiring Diagram ) E3510 RADIO	Move on to Step	1. Aerial connector disconnected	1. Reconnect the aerial connector.
			2. No positive supply at the diversity module	Move on to Step
			3. Aerial lead broken/not insulated	3. Replace the aerial lead.
3	ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the continuity/insulation of the supply lead from the Connect to the diversity module (Wiring Diagram ) E3510 RADIO	Move on to Step	Electrical connection faulty	Restore the electrical connection (Wiring Diagram ) E3510 RADIO
4	COMPONENT CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the condition of the aerials at the rearscreen	Move on to Step	Aerials broken	Replace the rearscreen See in Op. 7035B14 Rearscreen (bonded) GLASS - R.R. for Replacement - Includes cleaning housing in bodyshell
5	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present		Fault persists	Replace the diversity module
