Fuse 1 of the passenger compartment fuse box (C580-2) is also connected to the instrument pack (C233-2) on a white/green wire, and supplies a feed to the following warning lamps.

  • The hazard warning lamp, which is provided an earth path (C233-8) via the hazard warning/indicator circuit on a black/red wire. See EXTERIOR LAMPS - Indicators / Hazard Warning Lamps.
  • The ignition/no charge warning lamp, which is provided an earth path (C185-1) via the alternator on a brown/yellow wire. See CHARGING AND STARTING.
  • The main beam warning lamp, which is provided an earth path (C230-6) via the headlamp circuit on a blue/white wire. See EXTERIOR LAMPS - Head, Side and Number Plate Lamps.
  • The handbrake warning lamp (C233-4) which is connected to the handbrake switch (C288-1) by a white/yellow wire. When the handbrake is pulled on, the switch closes and creates a path to earth.
  • The RH and LH indicator warning lamps (C233-7 & C230-5 respectively), which are provided earth paths via the hazard warning/indicator circuit on green/white (RH) and green/red (LH) wires. See EXTERIOR LAMPS - Indicators / Hazard Warning Lamps.
  • The side lamp warning lamp, which is provided an earth path (C230-8) via the headlamp circuit on a red/orange wire. See EXTERIOR LAMPS - Head, Side and Number Plate Lamps.
  • The trailer pick-up warning lamp, which is provided an earth path (C230-3) via the hazard warning/indicator circuit on a light green/purple wire. See EXTERIOR LAMPS - Indicators / Hazard Warning Lamps.
  • The rear fog lamp warning lamp, which is provided an earth path (C230-1) via the fog lamp ECU (C543-3) on a red/yellow wire. See EXTERIOR LAMPS - Rear Fog Lamps.
  • The differential lock warning lamp (C233-10), which is connected to the differential lock (C306-1) by black/blue wire.
  • The oil pressure warning lamp (C233-3) which is connected to the oil pressure switch (C187-1) by a white/brown wire. The switch will close, providing a route to earth for the warning lamp, if it doesn’t register any oil pressure.
