ALTERNATOR Refit

Service repair no - 86.10.02

  1. Fit bolts and tighten nuts securing alterator to

Remove

  1. Connect leads to rear of alterator and secure
  2. Disconnect battery negative lead.
  3. Remove drive belt. See Auxiliary drive belt 12. Feed lucar through aperture in rear cover and
  4. Remove cover from rear of alterator.
  5. Fit cover to rear of alterator.
  6. Fit drive belt.
  7. Reconnect battery negative lead.
Alternator refit – Reconnect battery negative lead.
  1. Disconnect Lucar from rear of alterator and collect cover.
  2. Remove 2 nuts securing leads to rear of alterator.
  3. Disconnect leads from rear of alterator.
Alternator refit – Disconnect leads from rear of alterator.
  1. Remove 2 bolts securing generator to mounting bracket and collect nuts.
  2. Remove alterator.
  3. Fit alterator to mounting bracket.
