A feed passes through the closed contacts of the HRW relay, through fuse 23 of the passenger compartment fusebox (C583-8) and is connected on a brown wire to the HRW element (C381-1). The earth path from the HRW element (C382-2) is connected by a black wire to earth header joint (C551-2). The feed from the passenger compartment fusebox (C580-8) is also connected to HRW switch (C072-5) and supplies a feed to the HRW switch warning illumination. The illumination is earthed by black wire from the switch (C072-4) to an earth header joint (C550-3). When approximately 15 minutes has elapsed or the HRW switch is pressed a second time or the engine is stopped, the earth path from the HRW relay coil is removed by the CCU. The relay contacts open, cutting the supply to the HRW element and HRW switch warning illumination.
