DVD Autochanger
The DVD autochanger is installed in the LH side of the luggage compartment, behind the trim panel. Up to six discs
can be stored in the DVD autochanger, in a removable magazine. The magazine is installed behind a sliding door in
the front face of the DVD autochanger. The magazine is removed from the DVD autochanger by pressing an eject
button, which is visible once the sliding door is open.
Any combination of video DVDs, video CDs and audio CDs can be loaded in the magazine.
DVD Autochanger and Magazine
Line Driver (Non Logic 7 Audio Systems Only)
The line driver is installed in the LH side of the luggage compartment, on the forward side of the DVD autochanger.
The line driver boosts the line level audio and matches the CD/DVD audio levels.
Visual Splitter Unit
The visual splitter unit is installed in the LH side of the luggage compartment, below the DVD autochanger. The visual
splitter unit balances the impedance levels for the two LCD screens to reduce radio frequency interference.
Infrared Sensor
Two infrared sensors are installed in the rear overhead console, behind two sensor windows. The infrared sensors
receive the signals output by the remote control and transmit the left and right audio outputs for the cordless
headphones.
Infrared Control Unit
The infrared control unit is installed in the LH side of the luggage compartment, below the visual splitter unit. The
infrared control unit provides the interface between the infrared sensors and the rear multimedia system.
