Installation
1 .
Install the oil pickup pipe.
Clean the component mating faces.
Install a new seal.
Tighten the Torx screws to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
2 .
CAUTION: The oil pump driveshaft is not symmetrical. The longer end shown, is fitted into the
oil pump.
Install the oil pump assembly.
Clean the component mating faces.
Prime the oil pump.
Install the driveshaft.
Tighten Torx screws to 20 Nm (15 lb.ft).
3 .
Install the cylinder block cradle. For additional information, refer to
Cylinder Block Cradle (12.25.06)

4 .
Install the front wheels and tires.
5 .
Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to
Specifications
(Section 414-00)
