2 . 

 

   CAUTION: The Camshaft position (CMP) sensor tip must rest on one of the three webs on the 

back of the camshaft pulley. Incorrect installation may result in the CMP sensor being damaged. 

Install a new CMP sensor 

3 . 

  Install the retaining bolt. 

  

Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).

4 . 

  Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector.

5 . 

  

Install the LH EGR valve. For additional information, refer to 

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve

6 . 

  Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to 

Specifications

 (Section 414-00)
