Removal

1 .
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the
vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2 .
Disconnect the RH catalytic converter from the muffler assembly.
Remove the 2 nuts.
Discard the gasket.
3 .
Disconnect the LH catalytic converter from the muffler assembly.
Remove the nut and release the retaining clamp.
4 .
With assistance, remove the muffler assembly.
Disconnect the 5 exhaust hangers.
