Passenger Air Bag Module (76.74.02)
Removal

WARNING: It is imperative that before any work is undertaken on the SRS system, the appropriate
information is read thoroughly.
WARNING: Always disconnect both battery cables before beginning work on the SRS system.
Disconnect the ground cable first. Never reverse connect the battery.

2 .
Make the SRS system safe. For additional information, refer to
Standard Workshop Practices
(Section 100-00)
3 .
Remove the instrument panel upper section. For additional information, refer to
Instrument Panel
Upper Section (76.46.04)
(Section 501-12)
4 .
Remove the passenger air bag module.
Remove the 4 nuts.
5 .
NOTE :
Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
Remove the passenger air bag module bracket.
Remove the 2 nuts.
