c. Detach the steering pad switch cable's tabs from the switch, as shown in the illustration.

d. Detach the 2 claws and raise the connector cover.

e. Hold the connector cover and disconnect the switch from the steering pad switch cable.

NOTE:  When disconnecting the switch, do not pull the switch's wire harness.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH LH

a. Hold the connector cover and connect the switch to the steering pad switch cable.
