a. Remove the 3 bolts and battery bracket subassembly.

CAUTION:  Wear insulated gloves.

37. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY

a. Disconnect the 3 connectors and 2 clamps.

CAUTION:  Wear insulated gloves.

NOTE:  Insulate the removed terminals with insulated tape.

b. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, and pull out the battery carrier.

CAUTION:  Wear insulated gloves.

NOTE:  Do not forcibly pull out the battery carrier because it is connected to high voltage wire harnesses.
