a. Remove the 7 bolts and No. 6 battery carrier panel from the battery carrier sub-assembly.

CAUTION:  Wear insulated gloves.

NOTE:  Do not drop the bolts in the cooling air inlet.

39. SEPARATE BATTERY CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY

a. Remove the 2 connectors and 4 clamps, and disconnect the 2 frame wires (high voltage cable).

CAUTION:  Wear insulated gloves.

NOTE:  Insulate the removed terminals with insulating tape.

b. Remove the 4 bolts and disconnect the hybrid vehicle converter.

CAUTION:  Wear insulated gloves.
