Voltage Inverter: Service and Repair
Replacement

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH
6. DRAIN COOLANT (for Inverter)

NOTE:  Collect the drained coolant and measure its volume to ensure that more coolant than the measured volume is added.

a. Remove the inverter radiator cap.

CAUTION:  Only hold the cap when removing the inverter radiator cap. Holding other parts may cause your fingers to be caught
between the cap and the protrusion on the filler tank.

b. Using a hexagon wrench (6 mm), loosen the bleeder plug indicated in illustration A and connect the hose.

NOTE:
-

Insert the other end of the hose into the filler tank.

Be sure to hold the bleeder when loosening the bleeder plug.

c. Remove the plug indicated in illustration B and connect the hose.

NOTE:  Insert the other end of the hose into the filler tank.
