d. Loosen the drain plug indicated in the illustration to drain the coolant.

NOTE:  Be sure to use a tool to hold the end of the hose when loosening the drain plug

e. After draining the coolant, tighten the drain plug.

Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)

Using a hexagon wrench (10 mm), remove the drain plug indicated in the illustration and drain the coolant.

g. Using a hexagon wrench (10 mm), install the drain plug with a new gasket.

Torque: 39 N.m (398 kgf.cm, 29 ft.lbf)

7. ADD COOLANT (for Inverter)

Detection Item

NOTE:  If the vehicle is driven with air in the coolant system, the given DTC will be output.

HINT:  Coolant (for Inverter) capacity: 2.9 liters (3.1 US qts, 2.6 imp.qts.)
