b. Install the fuel vapor containment valve with the 2 nuts.

Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)

c. Connect the 2 fuel tank vent hoses to the fuel vapor containment valve.

1. Push the vent hose into the fuel vapor containment valve port and push the retainer to lock it.

NOTE:
-

Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part.

After connecting, check that the vent hose and the valve are securely connected by pulling on them.

d. Connect the connector and clamp.

2. INSTALL NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR

a. Install the protector with the 2 nuts.

3. INSTALL FUEL TANK CAP
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP
6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

a. Perform initialization.

NOTE:  Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
