a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 4 screws and steering pad switch.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

a. Install the switch with the 4 screws.
b. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL STEERING PAD
3. INSTALL SWITCH & VOLUME CASE
4. INSTALL NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. INSPECT STEERING PAD
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

a. Perform initialization.

NOTE:  Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

a. Check the SRS warning light.
