Inspection Procedure

1.

Test drive the vehicle on a rough road to confirm the customer complaint.

2.

If the rattle noise is confirmed to be coming from the glove box latch area, replace the glove box door assembly and adjust the hinges per the
repair procedure below.

Repair Procedure

1.

Record the radio presets.

2.

Disconnect cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

Wait at LEAST 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner
activation.

3.

Remove the glove box door sub-assembly.
