36. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING See: Brake Pedal Assy/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
37. REMOVE PUSH ROD PIN See: Brake Pedal Assy/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal
38. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER WITH SIMULATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the brake stroke simulator connector.
(b) Remove the 4 nuts and brake master cylinder with simulator.
39. REMOVE BRAKE BOOSTER GASKET
(a) Remove the brake booster gasket from the brake master cylinder with simulator.

INSTALLATION
NOTE:
While the battery is connected, even if the engine switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or the
door courtesy switch turns on. Therefore during servicing of the brake system components, do not operate the brake pedal and open/close the
doors while the battery is connected.
1. INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER GASKET
(a) Install a new brake booster gasket to the brake master cylinder with simulator.
2. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER WITH SIMULATOR ASSEMBLY
