SUSPENSION CONTROL: HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE (for Rear Side): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing  See: Service Precautions/Suspension Control System.

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH See: Starting and Charging/Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.
NOTE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and
settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery
terminal.

3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL RH
4. REMOVE QUARTER PANEL WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH

(a) Remove the 4 screws and moulding.

5. REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER RH

(a) Remove the 2 clips and 3 screws.
(b) Remove the 11 nuts and rear wheel house liner.

6. REMOVE NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Using SST, disconnect the 3 air tubes See: Service Precautions/Suspension Control System.

SST: 09730-00010

(c) Disconnect the air tube from the clamp.

(d) Remove the 2 nuts and height control valve.
