SEAT: LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (for Front Side): REMOVAL

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the front seat assembly See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat Assembly/Removal.
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Disassembly
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt Systems/Seat Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly/Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Disassembly
5. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Disassembly
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Disassembly
7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Disassembly
8. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH (except 5-Passenger with Ottoman) See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat
Assembly/Disassembly
9. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Disassembly
10. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (BACK SIDE) (w/ Climate Control Seat System) See: Service and
Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Disassembly
11. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
(a) for Driver Side:
(1) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
(2) Remove the 4 bolts and 2 lumbar support adjuster motors from the seatback frame.
(b) for Passenger Side:
(1) Disconnect the connector.
(2) Remove the 2 bolts and lumbar support adjuster motor from the seatback frame.
(c) Detach the 4 clamps and remove the lumbar support adjuster.
