The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart    See: Specifications/Mechanical Specifications/Standard
Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Attach the 4 clamps to install the lumbar support adjuster.

(b) for Driver Side:

(1) Install the 2 motors with the 4 bolts.

(2) Connect the 2 connectors.

(c) for Passenger Side:

(1) Install the motor with the 2 bolts.

(2) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (BACK SIDE) (w/ Climate Control Seat System)   See: Service and

Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Reassembly

3. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Reassembly

4. INSTALL POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH (except 5-Passenger with Ottoman)   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat

Assembly/Reassembly

5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Reassembly

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Reassembly

7. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Reassembly

8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Reassembly

9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH   See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt Systems/Seat Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly/Installation

10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH   See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Assembly/Reassembly

11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the front seat assembly    See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat Assembly/Installation.

12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization    See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light    See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic

Overview/Diagnosis System.

14. CHECK FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Check the power seat operation    See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Front Power Seat Control
