Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
Installation

1UR-FSE EXHAUST: EXHAUST MANIFOLD (for 2WD): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1)   See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Oxygen Sensor/Service and

Repair/Air Fuel Ratio Sensor/Installation

2. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2)   See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Oxygen Sensor/Service and

Repair/Air Fuel Ratio Sensor/Installation

3. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install a new gasket.

LH

(b) Install the exhaust manifold LH, and install 8 new nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

Torque : 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

4. INSTALL NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

(a) Install the exhaust manifold heat insulator with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
