(a) Install the front suspension member reinforcement with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 50 Nm (510 kgf-cm, 39 ft-lbf)

7. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

(a) Install the engine under cover with the clip and screw.

8. CONNECT FRONT STABILIZER BAR   See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/AA80E Automatic Transmission/Transmission Assembly/Installation

9. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR RH   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Front Stabilizer

10. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR LH   See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Front Stabilizer

11. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front exhaust pipe    See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Exhaust Pipe/Service and Repair/Installation.

12. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the generator    See: Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Installation.

13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

14. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH   See: Charging System/Alternator/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Installation

15. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization    See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
