2UR-FSE FUEL: FUEL INJECTOR (for Port Injection): INSPECTION

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the resistance of the injector.

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the injector.

(b) Inspect the injection volume.

CAUTION: This test involves high-pressure fuel and electricity. Take all precautions regarding safe handling of both the fuel and
electrical components. Perform this test in a safe area, and avoid any sparks or flames. Do not smoke.

(1) Remove the fuel pipe clamp.

(2) Pinch the connector and disconnect the fuel tube.
NOTE: Do not use any tools in this procedure.
HINT: If the connector and tube are stuck, pinch the connector and push and pull the tube to disconnect them.
