22. INSTALL FRONT AXLE SHAFT NUT LH See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Front Lower Suspension Arm/Installation

24. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected See: Testing and

25. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER See: Hybrid Drive Systems/Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Hybrid Battery Service Switch
26. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH See: Starting and Charging/Battery
27. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
28. STABILIZE SUSPENSION
(a) Install the front wheels.
Torque: 140 Nm (1428 kgf-cm, 103 ft-lbf)
(b) Lower the vehicle and start the engine. Then fill the front pneumatic shock absorber with cylinder assembly LH with air.
HINT: If the vehicle height is not restored within 2 minutes, stop the engine and then start the engine again.
(c) Bounce the vehicle up and down several times to stabilize the front suspension.
(d) Remove the front wheels.
NOTE: Do not turn the power switch ON (IG).
(e) Jack up the front suspension lower arm with a wooden block between the jack and front suspension lower arm. Apply a load to the front
suspension so that the front suspension lower arm is horizontal.
29. TIGHTEN FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER BRACKET LOWER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Tighten the lower side nut of the lower front shock absorber bracket sub-assembly LH.
Torque: 112 Nm (1142 kgf-cm, 83 ft-lbf)
30. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 140 Nm (1428 kgf-cm, 103 ft-lbf)
31. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(a) Check and adjust the front wheel alignment See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Front Wheel Alignment.
32. INSPECT FOR AIR LEAK
