Removal

9. REMOVE ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)

(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the hood lock nut cap.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and hood lock nut.

(c) Disconnect the connector.

(d) Disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).
